From November 26 to 29, 2024, the highly anticipated bauma CHINA 2024 was grandly held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. FPT Industrial (Booth No.: N5.110) returned to the event after a four-year absence, bringing fourengines—the F28, F36, N67 and CURSOR 9—specifically designed for construction machinery equipment, making a stunning appearance and fully demonstrating its outstanding achievements and innovation capabilities in the powertrain field. With their excellent performance, reliability and environmental friendliness, these engines became the focus of the exhibition.

The F28 engine is renowned for its compact layout and high performance. This 2.8-liter engine is specifically designed for compact construction machinery, with dimensions 5% smaller than comparable products while achieving significantly improved power output. The F28 engine offers excellent torque response and can meet a variety of needs including small construction machinery, material handling equipment and stationary machinery applications. Its single-side maintenance and 600-hour maintenance interval reduce operating costs, while the maintenance-free DOC after-treatment system further enhances the engine's economy.

The F36 engine showcases FPT Industrial's latest achievements in light and medium-duty applications. The engine's displacement has been increased to 3.6 liters while its external dimensions remain unchanged, ensuring compactness. The F36 engine is equipped with a new turbocharger and optimally designed pistons, achieving higher performance and torque output. Its power output has increased by 14% and torque by 20%, providing best-in-class torque density.

The N67 engine demonstrates its outstanding productivity and reliability. It features a non-structural design and six-cylinder configuration, meeting the demanding requirements of the construction machinery and industrial power sectors. In its Stage V version, the N67 engine features innovative designs for the cylinder head, pistons and turbocharger, further improving engine performance. Its power and torque performance exceed those of comparable products, while fuel efficiency has also been significantly improved.

The CURSOR 9 engine is FPT Industrial's flagship product developed to meet demanding heavy-duty requirements. This robust engine is suitable for high-intensity tasks in various construction machinery applications. The CURSOR 9 engine features a six-cylinder structure and exhaust gas recirculation-free technology, ensuring efficient combustion and optimal power output. Its HI-eSCR2 after-treatment system meets Stage V regulatory requirements and is maintenance-free, helping to reduce operating costs.
