Recently, the Boyu River Basin Comprehensive Treatment Project in Puding County, Anshun City has entered its final sprint stage. The river channel widening work has basically been completed, the newly built solid embankments stretch and wind along the river, and green grass vegetation has begun to be planted on the slopes. The completion of this project has not only widened the river channel, enhanced the river's self-purification capacity, and improved the river water quality and the regional water environment, but has also expanded the water flow area and given full play to the river's flood control and waterlogging drainage functions.
At the construction site of Section 4 of the Boyu River Basin Comprehensive Treatment Project, the various construction teams are working intensively. They are making full use of the current fine weather to race against time in advancing the project progress and going all out to complete the final river treatment wrap-up work. Shen Tongwu, the owner's representative of the Boyu River Basin Comprehensive Treatment Project, introduced that of the sections currently being implemented, two have been completed and two are in the wrap-up stage. The project mainly adopts an ecologically harmonious treatment approach to ensure that fish and shrimp in the river will have a good habitat in the future.
It is understood that the Boyu River Basin Comprehensive Treatment Project has a total treatment length of 17.49 kilometers and is divided into four sections that are advanced simultaneously. Since the start of the project, the various construction teams have overcome numerous difficulties and steadily advanced the project construction on the premise of ensuring project quality. Now, with the orderly progress of the wrap-up work, the entire project is about to be completed and delivered. "After treatment, it can protect Huangtong Subdistrict, Huachu Town, and Maguan Town involved in this river basin, and can also protect about more than 5,000 mu of surrounding farmland, benefiting more than 6,000 people," Shen Tongwu said.
