On November 25, the Guizhou Ceheng County Badu Agricultural Photovoltaic Power Station Project (Phase I) of PowerChina New Energy Company achieved full-capacity grid-connected power generation.

The project is located within Ceheng County, Qianxinan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, with a land area of approximately 1,400 mu and a total installed capacity of 69.12 MW. Its average annual on-grid electricity generation is 92.34 million kWh. Each year, it can save approximately 28,000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 70,000 tons, sulfur dioxide emissions by approximately 238 tons, fly ash emissions by approximately 1,276.8 tons, and nitrogen oxide emissions by approximately 207.2 tons, delivering significant energy-saving and emission-reduction benefits.

Most of the project area consists of towering, rugged rocky mountains, and the site has steep landforms and considerable topographic relief. At the same time, coordination was required with the power grid company for multiple outages of the 220 kV Gaoluo substation, making construction and coordination highly challenging. Since the start of construction, the Guizhou Branch of PowerChina New Energy Company has organized scientifically and managed meticulously, actively coordinated resources from all parties, reasonably deployed the project construction team, strictly implemented the contracted responsibilities, overcome difficulties, taken responsibility, and made every effort to advance project construction.
