On November 17 local time, the Serbia Exhibition Hall project undertaken by PowerChina welcomed another inspection by President Vučić this month, who personally brought hamburgers to share food with PowerChina employees.

"I made an exception and drove with Siniša Mali (Minister of Finance) to the Expo construction site," Vučić wrote on social media. The day coincided with the Serbian Orthodox holiday of Đurđevdan. Vučić said: "I wanted to bring hamburgers to our construction workers. They are still working hard on cold nights, and we want to cheer them on."

"I am proud to be part of it. This construction site is unbelievably large, and I thank everyone who works hard," Vučić said.

During the inspection, President Vučić warmly expressed his regards to the project's construction and management personnel and thanked them for their unremitting efforts and hard work. President Vučić also brought local specialty hamburgers to share with the project personnel. This gesture brought the two sides closer and greatly boosted the morale of the project staff.

The Serbia Expo Exhibition Hall is a major project of national priority for Serbia. Located in the Surčin district in the southwest of Belgrade, it has a total construction area of approximately 172,000 square meters and is expected to become one of the largest international trade expo venues in Southeast Europe, accommodating up to 43,000 visitors per day.

As one of the largest construction projects in the Balkan region, the completion of the exhibition hall will significantly enhance Serbia's position in the regional and even global economy, bring huge opportunities and a large number of jobs to Belgrade and Serbia, boost Serbia's economic development, and at the same time bring new opportunities for deepening practical cooperation between China and Serbia.
