On November 10, the second batch of safety production examinations for the three categories of safety production management personnel of water conservancy and hydropower engineering construction enterprises in the province for 2024 was held in Lanzhou. Wang Jianghai, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Department, provided on-site guidance and inspection.

Wang Jianghai pointed out that the three categories of safety production management personnel in water conservancy and hydropower engineering construction enterprises are key personnel for safety production management at water conservancy project construction sites, and their safety production awareness, quality, and management capabilities directly determine the level of construction safety production management. Earnestly implementing the safety production qualification assessment system for management personnel of water conservancy construction enterprises is of great significance for improving the level of safety production management in water conservancy project construction and preventing and reducing the occurrence of production safety accidents.

Wang Jianghai required the following: First, strictly enforce examination discipline. Strictly implement relevant examination regulations, ensure responsibilities are fulfilled in detail, strengthen examination process management, and conduct inspections for every session. Meticulously deploy emergency response, medical support, security, and other work to create a fair and just examination environment for candidates and ensure the smooth progress of the examination work. Second, focus on assessment effectiveness. Use examinations to promote learning, urge safety management personnel to truly master safety production knowledge and skills, enhance accident prevention and emergency response capabilities, and treat assessment results as access conditions for enterprises and individuals entering the water conservancy construction market and as important reference bases for management personnel to assume corresponding positions. Third, continuously strengthen continuing education. Water conservancy production and operation units must earnestly fulfill their principal responsibilities, strengthen online and offline training, carefully organize continuing education for safety management personnel every year, and continuously improve the capabilities and quality of the three categories of safety management personnel.

This examination set up a total of 8 main examination rooms and 1 backup examination room, with more than 1,300 candidates participating in the examination. The principal responsible comrades of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group stationed at the Department, the Department Office, the Department Personnel Division, the Department Finance Division, the Party Committee of Directly Affiliated Organs, and the Department Supervision Division participated in the examination inspection.
