On November 8, Tan Hua, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Energy Engineering Group Gezhouba Group, held a discussion in Wuhan with Hu Xiangyang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Changjiang Design Group, to conduct in-depth exchanges and reach broad consensus on seizing opportunities in the construction of major national strategic projects and deepening cooperation in fields such as water conservancy and hydropower, pumped storage, new energy, ecological and environmental protection, scientific and technological innovation, and international business.

He said that Changjiang Design Group is currently striving to serve national strategic needs and the Yangtze River protection initiative, accelerating the overall business layout of survey and design, high-end think tanks, engineering general contracting, and ecological livelihood industries, and providing full life-cycle services for global water resources, clean energy, ecological and environmental protection, and infrastructure construction projects. Gezhouba Group is a "main force" in the field of water conservancy and hydropower construction and has deep historical ties with Changjiang Design Group. The two sides have jointly created brilliant achievements and forged profound friendship in the Three Gorges Project, the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, and other major national strategic projects as well as cooperation on overseas projects.
