From November 1 to 3, the 2024 National Mine Construction Academic Annual Conference was held in Jinzhai, Anhui. CRCC Heavy Industry was invited to attend and deliver a keynote report. Liu Shaobao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of CRCC Heavy Industry, attended the event. At the closing ceremony, the conference host Cheng Shouye, Deputy General Manager of Beijing China Coal, announced that the 2025 National Mine Construction Academic Annual Conference will be held in Changsha, Hunan, and hosted by CRCC Heavy Industry.

As an important event in the field of mine construction, the National Mine Construction Academic Annual Conference is hosted by the Mine Construction and Geotechnical Engineering Professional Committee of the China Coal Society. It aims to promote the progress and development of China's mine construction science and technology, keep abreast of the latest domestic and international developments in mine construction, and exchange and showcase outstanding achievements in mine construction. Through various formats such as invited reports, thematic reports, and on-site interactive discussions, the annual conference provides a high-level academic exchange platform for experts and scholars in the industry.

This year's conference specially invited renowned experts and scholars from the industry to deliver thematic reports and promoted and publicized new achievements in mine construction and related fields. Experts and scholars from different industries, including coal, non-coal mines, transportation tunnels, and water conservancy and hydropower, presented a total of 33 splendid reports, attracting nearly 300 representatives to attend.

CRCC Heavy Industry delivered an exchange report titled "Research and Application of Complete Equipment for Intelligent Rapid Tunneling of Coal Mine Roadways" and introduced the successful case of cluster construction using four TBMs for coal mines in the Huainan region, which set multiple monthly advance records.

At the closing ceremony, CRCC Heavy Industry stated that it will uphold the philosophy of "openness, inclusiveness, cooperation, and innovation" and make every effort to host the 2025 National Mine Construction Academic Annual Conference successfully.
