Recently, the first batch of rail-mounted gantry crane equipment for the expansion project (Phase I) of the Hainan Yangpu Regional International Container Hub Port officially began assembly and commissioning work.

This batch comprises a total of 5 rail-mounted gantry cranes, all of which are semi-automated remote-controlled operating equipment. At present, cranes No. 1 and No. 2 have completed main body assembly and will successively be powered on to enter the commissioning stage; crane No. 3 is about to complete main body assembly; and the main body assembly work for cranes No. 4 and No. 5 will be gradually launched according to the established schedule. Subsequently, the 8 quay cranes supporting this expansion project are expected to arrive at the project site by the end of the year. International Port Operations will carry out equipment installation and commissioning in accordance with the project construction plan, ensure the smooth commissioning of the equipment, and accelerate the construction of the Yangpu Regional International Container Hub Port.
