On September 27, the Qiuzhuling Tunnel of the Shanan Expressway, a key project in Fujian Province, achieved double-tube breakthrough, 80 days ahead of the originally planned completion date.

The Qiuzhuling Tunnel, with a total length of 1,660 meters, is the only tunnel in the Jianyang section of the Shanan Expressway. The construction team overcame unfavorable factors such as a narrow site, large elevation differences, broken surrounding rock inside the tunnel, and complex geological and hydrological conditions. In strict accordance with the principles of "strict grouting, short excavation, strong support, and rapid sealing," the construction process achieved "zero accidents, zero collapses, and zero casualties." This is also the sixth of the ten tunnels in the Nanping section of the Shanan Expressway to achieve double-tube breakthrough.

With the breakthrough of this tunnel, we have laid the foundation for subsequent pavement construction and for achieving the overall schedule target. Before January 31, 2025, we must complete all civil construction work and hand over the construction interface to the subsequent pavement contractor.

The Shanan Expressway passes through Jianyang, Shunchang, and Shaxian in Sanming, with a total construction length of approximately 101.91 kilometers.
