Recently, Long Liang, Deputy Secretary of the Lingling District Party Committee and District Mayor, led a team to conduct research on some key projects. He required that they should focus on the goals and tasks, keep a close eye on the time nodes, strengthen service guarantees, and go all out to promote the acceleration and efficiency improvement of key project construction. District leaders Peng Dingguo, Tang Hongying, Chen Guilin, Liu Bin, Tang Haijun, and others participated.
　　Long Liang and his delegation successively visited the construction sites of projects including the Yongzhou Professional Used Car Trading Market, the Xiangtou International Gas Power Generation project, the section from Dongfeng Bridge to Pingzhou Bridge on Gucheng Road, the extension section of Pingyang North Road and the west ramp of Pingzhou Bridge, the Transportation and Logistics Industrial Park, and the Fujiaqiao Interchange Connector of the Lingdao Expressway. Through on-site inspections, listening to reports, and exchanges and inquiries, they gained a detailed understanding of the planning, construction progress, and element guarantees of each key project, and studied and resolved the existing difficulties and problems on site.
　　Long Liang pointed out that the construction of key projects is conducive to filling urban shortcomings, improving urban functions, and enhancing urban quality. Relevant departments and project owners should raise their political stance, proactively shoulder political responsibilities, unify their thinking and actions with the decisions and arrangements of the District Party Committee and District Government, further enhance their sense of responsibility, urgency, and mission, refine the work list, responsibility list, and problem list, and comprehensively accelerate project construction. They should scientifically carry out planning and design, broaden the thinking of project application and fund acquisition, and proactively connect with higher-level authorities. They should strengthen element guarantees, enhance communication and coordination, and promptly discover and resolve various problems in project construction. They should strengthen the awareness of time nodes, accelerate project construction progress, improve construction standards, and devote heart and effort to resolving the difficulties and bottlenecks in project advancement, going all out to ensure the smooth progress of projects and accumulate new momentum for the high-quality development of Lingling.
