从9月19日开始，甘肃省兰州市、临夏州等多地迎来降雨天气。截至20日0时，兰州市榆中县骆驼巷村委会累计降水量为53.9毫米，已达到暴雨级别。临夏回族自治州气象台9月20日0时15分继续发布暴雨橙色预警信号。
9月19日早上，临夏州积石山县中咀岭乡以西太子山沿线突降暴雨引发洪水，导致该乡马家咀河区域桥梁、道路、河堤等冲毁或受损。另外，村级文化广场、产业基础设施、农作物和农户房屋不同程度受损。截至目前，洪水尚未造成人员伤亡。
