　　Recently, the Gaofukou Tunnel, the first tunnel over one kilometer in length on the Hebei section of the Xiong'an-Xinzhou High-Speed Railway constructed by China Railway 18th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 'China Railway 18th Bureau'), was successfully holed through, marking a new breakthrough in the construction of the Hebei section of the Xiong'an-Xinzhou High-Speed Railway, laying a solid foundation for subsequent ballastless track operations and the scheduled completion and opening of the entire line in 2027, and further accelerating the construction of the 'four vertical and two horizontal' high-speed rail network in Xiong'an New Area.

　　Xiao Chen, technical director of Section 4 before the station on the Hebei section of the Xiong'an-Xinzhou High-Speed Railway, revealed that the Xiong'an-Xinzhou High-Speed Railway is an important component of the Beijing-Kunming corridor of the national 'eight vertical and eight horizontal' high-speed rail network, and also an important horizontal corridor of the 'four vertical and two horizontal' regional high-speed rail network in Xiong'an New Area. The main line has a total length of 342 kilometers, a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, 13 stations along the entire line, and the proportion of bridges and tunnels is as high as 88%.

　　Among them, the Gaofukou Tunnel, located in Fuping County, Hebei Province, passes through the eastern foothills of the Taihang Mountains and has a total length of 2,344 meters. The geological conditions along the route are complex and variable, and the construction technology is highly difficult, so it has been listed as a key and difficult control project of the entire line.

　　'During the construction process, the project team dynamically optimized the construction organization, strictly controlled the safety step distance of tunnel construction, and strictly followed the principles of emphasizing geology, advancing pipes, strict grouting, short advance, strong support, quick closure, frequent monitoring, and rapid feedback.' Xiao Chen introduced.

　　It is understood that in the face of complex geological conditions, the project team made full use of advanced geological forecasting and surrounding rock measurement technical means, conducted advance judgment, dynamically adjusted support parameters, controlled surrounding rock convergence and deformation, and strived to achieve 'changing with the rock and preventing and controlling risks.' In addition, it innovatively applied 'intelligent tunnel robots,' ensuring the safe holing-through of the tunnel as scheduled.

　　After the Xiong'an-Xinzhou High-Speed Railway is completed and opened to traffic, the history of no railway access in the old revolutionary base area of Fuping County will come to an end, which is of great significance for further improving the high-speed railway network in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and promoting exchanges between the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration and the Jinzhong urban agglomeration.
