In June of this year, due to the impact of heavy rainfall, water conservancy facilities such as ponds and reservoirs in Tunxi District were damaged to varying degrees, and flood control capacity was affected.
In order to give full play to the role of water conservancy projects, Tunxi District has made every effort to advance the construction of flood-damaged repair projects and comprehensively build a solid defense line against flood and drought disasters.
This flood-damaged repair project involves 4 towns, with a total investment of 2.7 million yuan. It is divided into 7 projects advanced simultaneously, covering 39 flood-damaged sites. The main repair contents include revetment repair and spillway renovation, outer dam slope improvement, bottom culvert and ditch repair of ponds and reservoirs.
To ensure that responsibilities are fulfilled in place, the Tunxi District Water Conservancy Bureau attaches great importance to the flood-damaged repair projects, clarifies the responsible entities, and implements the territorial responsibilities for flood-damaged repair of water conservancy projects. Through holding consultation meetings, it clarifies the responsibilities, time limits and repair contents of each territorial town; coordinates the arrangement of flood-damaged repair projects, and arranges matters related to flood-damaged repair according to the different degrees of damage and the principle of prioritizing urgent and important matters. It guides construction units to reverse-schedule the construction period to ensure that the flood-damaged project repairs are completed within the planned time; strengthens supervision and management to ensure project quality, establishes an expert group for flood-damaged projects to provide on-site guidance and inspection of construction progress, project quality, construction safety, etc., with emphasis on effectively controlling the quality of key parts and critical links of the projects, and strives to complete the projects with quality and quantity as early as possible.
At present, all projects have started construction, and about 200 meters of revetment repair has been completed, as well as spillway renovation and dam crest hardening of some ponds and reservoirs.
