On September 13, the first phase of Zhengzhou Rail Transit Line 7 began no-load trial operation, marking the official transition of the Line 7 Phase I project from the construction stage to the preparatory opening stage.

The Line 7 Phase I project is a north-south densification line in the central urban area of Zhengzhou, connecting the Huanghe area, the old city area, the southern area, and the southern new town. It is an important support for promoting the relocation of old city functions to the north and south areas. After opening for operation, it will further expand and extend the coverage of the rail transit network in Zhengzhou's central urban area, bring more convenient lives to residents of the central urban area, effectively enhance the level of comprehensive transportation integration in Zhengzhou, and be of great significance for boosting the construction of Zhengzhou as a national central city.
