On September 9, the first-phase project of the Tianjin city center to Jinghai suburban railway, for which China Railway Design Corporation (CRDC) served as the general contractor for survey and design, passed preliminary acceptance, taking another solid step toward opening to traffic!

The first-phase project of the Tianjin city center to Jinghai suburban railway starts in the south at Tuanbo Medical Park Station, passes through Tuanbo New Town and Jingwu Town, and finally connects with Jinghuadongdao Station on Metro Line 5. The line is about 13.4 km long and has 3 stations in total, all elevated: Tuanbo Medical Park Station, Tuanbo Health City Station, and Jingwu Station.

During the acceptance preparation stage, the corporation's design team gave full play to its technical advantages, going deep into the site during nighttime maintenance windows and working with all participating parties to effectively resolve technical issues. Throughout the acceptance process, the team accompanied the acceptance panel's experts on site inspections, promptly answered their inquiries, and made every effort to ensure the smooth passage of the preliminary acceptance. The quality of all aspects of the project won unanimous praise from the acceptance panel's experts, laying a solid foundation for the project's opening to traffic!

The first-phase project of the Tianjin city center to Jinghai suburban railway brings the western area of Tuanbo New Town into the Tianjin city center rail transit network and will strongly promote the rapid development of Tuanbo New Town and Jinghai District. The project team will carry out follow-up support work such as the pre-operational safety assessment, contributing CRDC's strength to the on-time opening of the first-phase project of the Tianjin-Jinghai suburban railway and to accelerating the building of the "rail-connected Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei"!
