covering five counties: Wenchuan, Mao County, Songpan, Zoige and Hongyuan,

with a total length of about 508 kilometers and an estimated total investment of about 99.4 billion yuan

All adopt the technical standard of two-way four-lane expressways 

1.  G0611 Chuanzhusi to Wenchuan Expressway

Approval status: On August 23, the project approval was approved by the Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission.

Estimated total investment: 56.518 billion yuan

Total route length: 200.5 kilometers

Design speed: 80 km/h

Construction period: 5 years

Project overview: The Chuanwen Expressway starts at Huangshengguan in Chuanzhusi Town, Songpan County, connecting with the proposed G0611 Langmusi to Chuanzhusi section expressway, passing through Shili Township, Songpan County seat, Qingyun Town, Anhong Township, Minjiang Township, Zhenjiangguan Township, Zhenping Township in Songpan County; Diexi Town, Shaba Town, Goukou Town, Weimen Town, Mao County seat, Nanxin Town in Mao County; Yanmen, Weizhou Town, Wenchuan County; and ends at Fengpingba, Weizhou Town, Wenchuan County, connecting with the completed Dujiangyan to Wenchuan and Wenchuan to Ma'erkang expressways. The total route length is 200.5 kilometers, with an estimated total investment of 56.518 billion yuan. The project adopts the technical standard of two-way four-lane expressways, with a design speed of 80 km/h and a subgrade width of 25.5 meters.

2.  G0611 Langmusi to Chuanzhusi Expressway

Approval status: On August 23, the project approval was approved by the Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission.

Estimated total investment: 24.686 billion yuan

Total length: 178.6 kilometers

Design speed: 100 km/h, 80 km/h

Construction period: 4 years

Project overview: The Langchuan Expressway starts at the border between Hongxing Town, Zoige County and Langmusi Town, Luqu County, Gansu Province, connecting with the planned G0611 Sailong to Langmusi section expressway in Gansu Province, passing through Axi Town, Baxi Town, Baozuo Township in Zoige County, Sedi Town in Hongyuan County, and ends at Huangshengguan, Chuanzhusi Town, Songpan County, connecting with the planned G0611 Chuanzhusi to Wenchuan section expressway. The total length is 178.6 kilometers, with an estimated total investment of 24.686 billion yuan. The entire line adopts the technical standard of two-way four-lane expressways. The design speed from the starting point to the Nianduoba interchange section is 100 km/h with a subgrade width of 26 meters; the design speed from the Nianduoba interchange to the endpoint is 80 km/h with a subgrade width of 25.5 meters.

Total length: 128.8 kilometers

Design speed: 100 km/h

Construction period: 3 years

Project overview: The Chuanhong Expressway starts at Baozuo Township, Zoige County, Aba Prefecture, connecting with the proposed G0611 Langmusi to Chuanzhusi section expressway, passing through Sedi Town, Maiwa Township, Amu Township, Qiongxi Town in Hongyuan County, and ends at Anqu Town, connecting with the under-construction G0615 Jiuzhi to Ma'erkang expressway. The total length is 128.8 kilometers, with an estimated total investment of 18.237 billion yuan. The project adopts the technical standard of two-way four-lane expressways, with a design speed of 100 km/h and a subgrade width of 26.0 meters.

The three expressways are major expressway corridors serving Tibetan-inhabited areas, and are also key projects for expanding expressway coverage in northwest Sichuan, reducing "blank areas," and improving the national and provincial expressway networks. They play an important role in supporting the implementation of the national strategies for large-scale development of the western region in the new era and "common prosperity of the five regions." The three projects are of great strategic significance for accelerating the connection of national expressways and building the New Western Land-Sea Corridor, helping promote the large-scale development of the western region in the new era, and promoting the development of advantageous resources and regional economic and social development along the routes.
