The deepest vertical shaft low-pressure tunnel of the northern trunk line of the Phase II of the Han-to-Wei River Water Diversion Project has been holed through
On August 23, accompanied by the roar of machinery, the low-pressure tunnel of No. 3 vertical shaft of the Xianyangyuan Tunnel and Box Culvert Construction Section II of the northern trunk line of the Phase II of the Han-to-Wei River Water Diversion Project was successfully holed through. The completion on schedule of this major milestone marks the successful holing-through of the low-pressure tunnel of the deepest vertical shaft of the northern trunk line of the Phase II of the Han-to-Wei River Water Diversion Project.

The Han-to-Wei River Water Diversion Project is a backbone project of the national water transmission and distribution project and one of the 150 major water conservancy projects that the country is accelerating from 2020 to 2025. According to the current progress, the northern trunk line of the Han-to-Wei River Water Diversion Project is expected to be fully completed by the end of 2025, and the southern trunk line is striving to be completed by 2026.
