Recently, the Xuzhou Urban Rail Transit Line 6 Phase I Project, for which China Railway Design Corporation (CRDC) undertook the overall design and general contracting, achieved full-line "track connection." As an important milestone in subway construction, "track connection" marks the transition of subway construction from the track-laying stage to the later stage of large-scale equipment installation, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent opening and operation of Line 6 Phase I.

The Xuzhou Urban Rail Transit Line 6 Phase I Project has a total length of 22.9 kilometers, with 16 stations and one vehicle base and one parking lot each. It is an overall general contracting project undertaken by the Group in Xuzhou and is also Xuzhou Metro's first fully automated driverless line. The construction standards for the Wangzhuang Vehicle Base main depot and the throat area outside the depot are high, and the track vibration reduction technology is highly challenging.

During project construction, the Group's Urban Transit Business Division and Jiangsu Company coordinated organization scientifically and strengthened resource allocation. The design team worked closely throughout the track-laying construction, went deep into the construction site, and promptly resolved various problems encountered during construction, safeguarding the smooth progress of track-laying work. At the same time, the team adhered to innovation-driven development and achieved the industrialized application of the Group's independently developed sleepers and turnout products in Xuzhou Metro.

The Xuzhou Urban Rail Transit Line 6 Phase I Project passes through Tongshan District, Yunlong District, and the Development Zone of Xuzhou, connecting major passenger flow hubs such as the Tongshan New District center, the Xincheng District administrative and business center, the Xincheng District passenger transport station, and the high-speed railway station. It is of great significance for improving Xuzhou's skeleton transportation network and expanding urban space.
