It was learned from the Provincial Transportation Control Group that recently, the asphalt lower-layer test section of the Guomeng Expressway completed paving, marking that the "county-town access" section has officially entered the pavement surface course construction stage, taking a solid step toward completion and opening to traffic by the end of the year.
　　It is understood that the chainage of this lower-layer test section is K39+950-K40+300 on the right side, using "3D intelligent paving technology" to improve construction precision and ensure one-time forming. The paving length is 350 meters, the half-width is 11.25 meters, the design thickness is 8 centimeters, and AC-25 coarse dense-graded asphalt concrete is adopted. During construction, technical parameter indicators such as the asphalt mixture mixing process, transportation, paving temperature, paving speed, and rolling process were strictly controlled. Preliminary testing showed that the smoothness, thickness, compaction degree, and other requirements of the test section all met the specification standards and achieved the expected results, providing a model and construction experience for subsequent large-scale construction.
　　In recent years, Anhui Province has continued to carry out the "county towns connected to expressways" campaign, making every effort to advance "county-town access" project progress. Up to now, 3 of the 6 "county-town access" expressway projects have been completed. The "county-town access" projects for Yixian, Shucheng, and Funan counties—the Chiqi Expressway, the Hezong Expressway, and the Anhui section of the Fuhuai Expressway—have successively been completed and opened to traffic. The "county-town access" projects for Huoqiu, Linquan, and Guoyang counties—the Shouxian to Yingshang section of the Hezhou Expressway, the Linquan Hub to Linquan West Interchange section of the Hezhou Expressway, and the Biaoli Hub to Guonan Interchange section of the Guomeng Expressway—are also under vigorous construction and are expected to be completed and opened to traffic successively within the year.
　　In addition, the Shouxian to Yingshang section project of the Hezhou Expressway and the Linquan Hub to Linquan West Interchange section project of the Hezhou Expressway are also under continuous construction. The Shouxian to Yingshang section project of the Hezhou Expressway has so far completed cumulative investment of more than 11.6 billion yuan, accounting for about 86% of the total investment, and has entered the final wrap-up stage. It is expected to complete the construction task in September this year. The main construction of the Guhe River Grand Bridge in Section 03 of the Yinglin section of the Hezhou Expressway is nearing completion and is expected to be fully completed by the end of August.
