In recent days, Pingli County has seized the "golden period" for water conservancy project construction, steadily and orderly advancing key water conservancy projects such as the treatment of weak links and water system connectivity, filling shortcomings in water conservancy infrastructure, and enhancing flood control and disaster reduction capabilities.
　　At the construction site of the Honggou treatment project in Haoziaba Village, Sanyang Town, workers are braving the scorching sun and carrying out mortar rubble retaining wall work in a tense and orderly manner.
　　"To speed up the schedule, we have adjusted the construction hours, divided into two teams, and are seizing the early morning and evening periods to intensify work. At the same time, by adding workers and machinery and other measures, we are achieving the milestone schedule targets and ensuring the project is completed on time with quality and quantity guaranteed," said Hu Wanshan, on-site manager of Section 1 of the flash flood gully treatment project in the Haoziaba Village section of Jihe, Sanyang Town.
　　The Honggou treatment project in Haoziaba Village started construction in May this year and is planned to build 1,232 meters of river embankment; 30% of the total project progress has been completed so far. Once completed, the project will effectively improve the flood control capacity of the river channel and safeguard the lives and property of residents along the banks.
　　Section 8 of the Pingli County water system connectivity and beautiful water countryside construction project is located in Xiba Village and Dongba Village, Xihe Town, with a total investment of more than 8.9 million yuan. More than 500 meters of embankment crest renovation has been completed, 100 meters of extended slope protection foundation concrete pouring has been completed, and 120 meters of foundation excavation for the newly built river embankment has been completed.

Later, we will expand more work faces, increase manpower and machinery, and speed up operations to ensure the project is delivered on schedule," said Liu Zuoquan, team leader of Section 8 of the Pingli County water system connectivity and beautiful water countryside construction project.
　　Since the beginning of this year, Pingli County has accelerated the construction of water conservancy projects with a tackling momentum, striving for rapid construction, early completion, and early commissioning. Up to now, 3 new projects have started and 1 project is under continued construction, with a total investment of 318 million yuan.
