2024 Pile Engineering Luying Association Mid-Year Meeting

From August 15 to 16, 2024, the Luying Association Mid-Year Summary Meeting was successfully held in Yixing. This marks the eighth year since the founding of the Luying Association, with more than thirty representatives from member enterprises gathering together to discuss industry development directions and response strategies. With the theme of "Return, Integration, and Moving Forward Together," the meeting held in-depth discussions on how to "break out of involution" within the industry against the backdrop of the current severe dual situation both internationally and domestically.

Shanjuan Cave: A Blend of Nature and History

Shanjuan Cave, known as the "Number One Cave in Jiangnan," is one of China's famous karst caves, located in the mountainous area southwest of Yixing City. Shanjuan Cave stretches over 800 meters in total length and consists of upper, middle, and lower levels. The cave's unique landscapes and the myriad forms of its stalactites make it a sought-after destination for tourists. Beyond its natural beauty, Shanjuan Cave also possesses profound cultural heritage; the Shanjuan Academy outside the cave and the ancient mountain village add rich humanistic color to this area. The choice of venue for this meeting not only allowed participants to experience the blend of nature and culture but also added a distinctive atmosphere to the successful convening of the meeting.

Meeting Theme: Return to Core Business, Integrated Development

Against the backdrop of the current severe dual situation both internationally and domestically, "breaking out of involution" became a common concern among participants. Some members joked that choosing "Shanjuan Village" as the venue symbolized everyone being "good at involution" (shan yu juan), but the core of the actual discussion was how to return to fundamentals and highlight core business in a complex environment. This year-end summary meeting was chaired by Mr. Cao Gaojun, Executive President of the Luying Association and General Manager of Zhejiang Zhenzhong Machinery Co., Ltd. In his address, Mr. Cao first summarized the development history of the Luying Association and, combined with successful cases from his own enterprise, elaborated on the mission of the Luying Association under the new circumstances, particularly its achievements in leveraging the Luying Association platform to help enterprises "go global." Mr. Cao emphasized that "return" means enterprises should focus on their core business and refine their core products, while "integration" requires member enterprises to strengthen resource integration and form closer cooperative relationships.

Guest Speeches: In-Depth Analysis and Strategic Thinking

The meeting invited several senior industry experts as guests to share their insights and analysis of the current industry situation. Mr. Huang Zhiming, Secretary-General of the Pile Machinery Branch of the China Construction Machinery Association, provided a detailed analysis of the challenges and opportunities facing the current market from the macro, meso, and micro levels, offering member enterprises a clear industry panorama. Mr. Guo Chuanxin, Secretary-General of the Pile Machinery Branch of the China Construction Machinery Society, offered targeted recommendations for the current situation based on the specific performance of each member enterprise. Mr. Wu Chunqiu, General Manager of Jianyan Foundation Engineering Co., Ltd., shared his unique views on how enterprises should respond to changes from four aspects: vitality, pragmatism, breakthrough, and new quality productive forces. Mr. Sun Jinshan, Chairman of Jinshan Media, pointed out that the increasingly difficult industry environment is actually a process of the industry moving toward specialization, and that enterprises which have successfully transformed are without exception leaders who have been deeply rooted in their professional fields for many years.

President Xin Peng's Summary Speech: Clarifying Future Development Directions

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Xin Peng, President of the Luying Association and Chairman of Tysim Machinery, delivered a summary speech. He pointed out that in the face of new circumstances, the next steps of the Luying Association will revolve closely around "return" and "integration." Mr. Xin particularly emphasized that the pile engineering industry is characterized by multiple varieties, customization, and heavy emphasis on service; member enterprises should return to the essence of their market segments and strengthen their professional capabilities to respond to constantly changing market demands.

This meeting also brought together representatives of many outstanding enterprises in the industry, including Mr. Zhang Guangbiao, General Manager of Beijing Vibroflotation Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd.; Mr. Hu Chunjun, General Manager of Xuzhou Grean Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd.; Mr. Wang Jiancheng, General Manager of Wuxi Xinliang Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd.; Mr. Wang Guanghua, General Manager of Wenzhou Jingjiu Foundation Engineering Co., Ltd.; Mr. Huang Jun, General Manager of Hunan Volga Pile Engineering Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd.; Mr. Feng Jianwei, General Manager of Beijing Dafu Equipment Technology Co., Ltd.; Mr. Zhang Wansen, General Manager of Wenzhou Ruiji Technology Co., Ltd.; Dr. Zhou Yushi, General Manager of Zhongcheng Yanke; and Mr. Ma Jun, Sales Manager of Yanggu Haoquan Machinery Co., Ltd., among others.

All participants unanimously agreed that in the face of challenges, only through "integration" can win-win outcomes be better achieved. Through resource integration and project coordination, member enterprises can move forward hand in hand with mutual support and jointly promote the development of the industry.

The successful convening of this year-end summary meeting not only strengthened the cohesion among Luying Association members but also laid a solid foundation for future development. It is believed that under the guidance of "return" and "integration," the member enterprises of the Luying Association will continue to advance in their respective fields and jointly embrace future opportunities and challenges.
