With the successful completion of this pipe-pulling operation, the Jiangmen Taishan New Material Water Supply Project is nearing completion. The SANY SD1000S horizontal directional drilling rig involved played a part with outstanding performance in efficient construction, supporting urban development.

At the pipe-pulling site, the SANY SD1000S horizontal directional drilling rig stood out. Extending its long arm with ease, an operator from Shenzhen Baotong Trenchless Engineering Co., Ltd. said: "This SANY horizontal directional drill has stable performance, strong power, and a high degree of intelligence. It's easy to use!"

It is reported that this project is a key municipal construction project in Taishan. Once put into use, it will provide surrounding residents with high-quality and safe drinking water and ease the pressure on urban water supply.

The site of the Taishan New Material Water Supply Project has complex geology, including bluestone rock formations, backfill soil layers, and coarse sand soil layers, making construction difficult and placing high demands on the precision of pipe-pulling operations. With its powerful performance, high-precision control, and convenient relocation features, the SANY SD1000S horizontal directional drilling rig closely matches the operational needs of the Taishan water supply project. Therefore, Shenzhen Baotong Trenchless Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shenzhen Baotong), which is responsible for the project, quickly dispatched SANY equipment to the construction front.

During the 35-day effort, the excellent performance of the SANY SD1000S horizontal directional drilling rig won high praise from the customer. The project manager said: "We currently have equipment of the same tonnage from other brands on our site, but their construction efficiency still falls short compared with SANY. The SANY horizontal directional drilling rig is highly efficient, about 30% higher than other brands, and its after-sales service is also timely, helping us solve any problems we encounter."

The SD1000S horizontal directional drilling rig deployed in the Taishan New Material Water Supply Project is a new China IV heavy-duty model built by SANY.
