Recently, the Jiangjin-Luzhou-Yibin Expressway (Sichuan Section) project received approval from the Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission. It is the third expressway project to obtain approval this year, creating the prerequisite conditions for construction to start as early as possible within the year.

▲Project Geographic Location

The Jiangjin-Luzhou-Yibin Expressway (Sichuan Section) is a direct expressway corridor connecting Yibin and Luzhou in Sichuan with Jiangjin in Chongqing, and serves as a duplicate line for the Luzhou-Yibin section of the G93 Chengdu-Chongqing Ring Expressway. The project is a key project in the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle. It is of great significance for enhancing the capacity of the Luzhou-Yibin national comprehensive transportation hub, supporting the construction of the Yibin-Luzhou cluster as a provincial economic sub-center in southern Sichuan, and supporting and serving the integrated development of the southern Sichuan-western Chongqing region and the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle.

The project starts at Baihe Town, Luxian County, Luzhou City, connects with the Chongqing Jiangjin-Luzhou North Line Expressway, passes through Longmatan District, Fushun County of Zigong City, and Jiang'an County, Nanxi District, Sanjiang New Area, and Cuiping District of Yibin City, and ends at Guanyin Town, Xuzhou District, connecting with the G7512 Chengdu-Yibin Expressway. The route is about 133 kilometers long, with an estimated investment of about 19.5 billion yuan. The entire line adopts the technical standard of a two-way four-lane expressway, with a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour and a construction period of 3 years.

The project is being built under the BOT model. The social capital party is a consortium composed of China Railway Construction Kunlun Investment Group Co., Ltd., CCCC Investment Co., Ltd., and China Railway ** Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. The project owner is Sichuan Kunlun Jiangluyi Expressway Co., Ltd.
