Recently, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the National Development and Reform Commission approved and issued the Construction Standards for Urban Public Stadiums, the Construction Standards for Urban Public Gymnasiums, and the Construction Standards for Urban Public Natatoriums, which will take effect on December 1, 2024.

Construction Standards for Urban Public Stadiums

This construction standard is the nationwide unified standard for the decision-making and construction of urban public stadium construction projects. It is an important basis for the preparation, evaluation, and approval of relevant project proposals, feasibility study reports, and preliminary designs, and an important yardstick for the whole-process supervision and management of urban public stadium construction projects.

Construction Standards for Urban Public Gymnasiums

This construction standard applies to new construction projects of urban public gymnasiums; reconstruction and expansion projects may refer to it for implementation. It does not apply to gymnasiums exclusively for persons with disabilities.
