Recently, with the final box girder of the Yingbin Avenue overpass over the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway Bridge in Tangxia Town, Dongguan City, steadily placed on its bearing, the Yingbin Avenue overpass over the railway bridge constructed by China Railway Seventh Group Co., Ltd. was successfully closed, laying a solid foundation for the completion and opening of the project to traffic.

　　The Yingbin Avenue overpass over the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway reconstruction project runs east-west and is a main arterial road in Tangxia Town, serving as an urban transportation hub connecting the eastern and western areas of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway. The project officially began closed construction on July 3, 2023, and includes the demolition of the existing railway overpass bridge and the construction of a new bridge widened to four lanes in both directions, which lands and connects to the existing road after crossing the railway. The new bridge's main span girder is 37.5 meters long and 16.5 meters wide.

　　According to China Railway Seventh Group Co., Ltd., the project crosses over the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway, with the fourth span (main span between piers 3# and 4#) having a span of 37.5 meters crossing tracks I, II, III, and IV of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway, comprising a total of five box girders, with the heaviest box girder weighing 150.54 tons. Before girder erection, special plans for the assembly and disassembly of the bridge erection machine and special girder erection plans had to be carefully prepared. Through repeated discussion and optimization of the span-passing and girder erection construction process, and the decomposition and refinement of construction procedures, the closure was finally successfully completed in the early hours of August 10.
