On August 9, the civil works Section V project of the Phase I construction general contracting for Shenzhen Urban Rail Transit Line 22 successfully passed the pre-commencement prerequisite acceptance, marking that the civil works Section V of Shenzhen Metro Line 22 undertaken by China Railway No.2 Engineering Group officially entered the construction stage. The acceptance team consisted of experts and leaders from Shenzhen Metro Construction Group Co., Ltd., China Railway Design Corporation, Shanghai Construction Engineering Supervision & Consulting Co., Ltd., China Railway Southern Investment Group Co., Ltd., and the Shenzhen Metro Line 22 consortium.

Shenzhen Urban Rail Transit Line 22 is an urban express line under the rail network plan of "seven radials and one half-ring." The line starts at Shangsha Station in Futian District and ends at Liguang Station in Longhua District, with a total length of approximately 34.76 km. The main line is fully underground, with 21 stations and an average station spacing of 1.74 km. Chengtong Company of China Railway No.2 Engineering Group is undertaking the construction of two covered-excavation top-down stations, Minzhi Station and Minzhi North Station, as well as two shield-driven sections: Minzhi–Minzhi North and Minzhi North–Yousong.

Since entering the site, under the scientific guidance and coordinated organization of the company's working group, the project has actively overcome many difficulties, including the complex pipeline environment, numerous coordinating units, and great difficulty in traffic diversion. It has held special promotion meetings every week to study and formulate measures and made every effort to advance the preliminary pipeline relocation works, thereby providing effective guarantees for the official commencement of the project. After procedures including internal document review and on-site field acceptance, the acceptance team concluded that the project had completed all work in accordance with the standardization requirements for Shenzhen Metro construction projects and unanimously agreed to pass the acceptance.

The success of this pre-commencement prerequisite acceptance is the result of the concerted efforts and full cooperation of all project management personnel. It is also the ** major milestone task objective achieved by the project since entering the site, officially opening the prelude to comprehensively advancing construction production and laying a solid foundation for the project's commencement. Next, the project department will seize the momentum, quickly open up the situation, and, in the subsequent pipeline relocation and retaining structure construction, summarize experience, improve efficiency, strengthen safety and quality management, scientifically and orderly advance on-site construction production, and ensure the safe and efficient completion of all construction task indicators.
