Recently, Aihui Road Station on Shanghai Rail Transit Line 18 successfully completed the capping of its main structure. To date, 5 of the 6 stations in Phase II of Line 18 have been capped, marking another solid step forward in the construction of Phase II of Line 18.

Located on the east side of the intersection of Aihui Road and Hulan Road in Baoshan District, Aihui Road Station is an underground three-level island-type station. The main body of the station is 168.6 meters long and 24.24 meters wide, with a maximum excavation depth of 27.7 meters. It is constructed using the open-cut sequential method and has a total of 3 entrances and exits and 2 sets of ventilation pavilions.

During the structural backfilling process, the Fourth Branch Company, through management measures such as the "first-piece system," "inspection system," and "regular meeting system," required the construction unit to uphold the principle of "safety first, quality foremost" and adhere to strict quality management and control measures. To ensure the quality of the station and achieve quality requirements such as no leakage in the station, a series of strict measures were taken, including strictly following the design requirements during construction and strengthening quality process control at the construction site. Starting from engineering details on site, the foundation of the free-standing wall and the structural slab were poured integrally. Through process optimization and adjustment, the group's specific requirements of "six high qualities" and "ten goals" were implemented. Through meticulous construction and strict quality control, the structural backfilling work of the main structure of Aihui Road Station was successfully completed.

Next, the Fourth Branch Company and the participating units will continue to solidly carry out follow-up work to ensure that various preparatory tasks, including shield tunneling breakthrough and reception, are completed on schedule.
