According to the introduction by China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd., starting August 6, the Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou High-Speed Railway entered the static acceptance stage, marking the basic completion of the main construction of this railway and bringing it one step closer to opening for operation. See details below↓
Static acceptance is an important part of the quality acceptance work for high-speed railway projects and an important link in strengthening high-speed railway project quality management. Static acceptance includes internal inspection and external inspection. The internal inspection involves, by discipline, checking design documents, engineering contract technical documents, project construction quality acceptance records, testing data, evaluation data, supervision data, etc., verifying and confirming the completeness and comprehensiveness of the data, and conducting spot checks on key projects; the external inspection involves, by discipline, checking visual quality, conducting spot checks on physical quality and main functions, and verifying and confirming compliance with relevant standards or design document requirements.

To carry out the static acceptance of the Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou High-Speed Railway with high quality, China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd. established a static acceptance leading group and 10 specialized static acceptance working groups to strengthen guidance and organization of the acceptance work, adopt advanced, mature, and scientific testing technologies, and focus on acceptance of specialized works such as track works, communication and signaling, electric traction power supply and electric power, building construction, information, passenger service facilities, construction land, and environmental and water conservation.

Schematic diagram of the Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou High-Speed Railway alignment
The Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou High-Speed Railway starts from Shanghai Hongqiao Station, passes through Suzhou City in Jiangsu Province, and ends at Huzhou Station in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. The line has a total length of about 163 kilometers, a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, and 8 stations: Shanghai Hongqiao, Shanghai Songjiang, Liantang, Suzhou South, Shengze, Huzhou Nanxun, Huzhou East, and Huzhou.
The Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou High-Speed Railway is a major project for infrastructure interconnection among Shanghai, Suzhou, and Huzhou, and also a key project for high-speed railway networking, network supplementation, and chain strengthening in the Yangtze River Delta. After completion and operation, it will further improve the regional road network layout, effectively relieve transport pressure on the Shanghai-Nanjing and Shanghai-Hangzhou railway corridors, optimize the layout of the Shanghai railway hub, and facilitate travel for people along the line. It is of great significance for building a "Yangtze River Delta on Rails," promoting economic and social development along the line, and advancing the integrated high-quality development of the Yangtze River Delta.
