Entering August, with the arrival of the peak tourist season, the cultural and tourism industry in Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture continues to heat up. In order to accelerate the construction of the ** zone of international eco-tourism destinations, Yushu Prefecture adheres to the development approach of "shaping tourism with culture, highlighting culture through tourism, and integrating culture and tourism," firmly establishes the concept of "projects as the king," takes project construction as the lever, and has effectively improved the infrastructure service capacity for international eco-tourism destinations across the prefecture.
　　The Yushu Prefecture Party Committee and Prefecture Government, through special task force promotion and regular analysis, actively apply for projects focusing on upgrading scenic spots, improving infrastructure, preserving and developing cultural relics, building rural tourism, and revitalizing historical legacies. They have cumulatively secured a total of 110 million yuan from provincial special guiding funds for culture and tourism, central government funds supporting the construction of the public cultural service system, and special funds for counterpart support, launching 46 major cultural and tourism projects across the prefecture, implementing a division of responsibilities and a battle plan. As of now, 6 construction projects have been completed, 7 projects have started, 19 projects are under continued construction, and 14 projects are newly started. Among them, more than 43 million yuan was invested to complete the first and second phases of smart tourism construction, taking the ** step in digital cultural tourism. The construction of the Lancang River source-tracing cultural and tourism station in Zaduo County has been completed, and the construction of the station on National Highway 214 in Nangqian County is progressing steadily. The upgrading and renovation of the "three museums, one station, and two centers" has been launched, the design plan for the prefecture tourist service center has passed review, the first phase of the prefecture library has been completed, and the number of visitors entering the library has increased significantly. The construction project of tourism signage across the prefecture is progressing steadily, with 30 tourism signage construction sites identified along National Highways 345 and 214.
　　At the same time, efforts are focused on cultivating new cultural and tourism formats such as rural tourism, night economy, and rural homestays. An investment of 4 million yuan has been used to complete the creation of the Jiela Village rural tourism demonstration site in Yushu City, and there are plans to invest 24.9 million yuan to build 9 projects, including infrastructure for self-driving vehicle campsites, upgrading research and study travel infrastructure, creating a black tent folk custom experience and exhibition education base, and building public toilets along national and provincial highways.
