In order to comprehensively improve the level of trenchless pipeline technology and support the construction of intelligent pipelines and smart pipeline networks in China, on July 31 - August 1, 2024, the 7th China Oil and Gas Pipeline Trenchless Engineering Technology Exchange Conference and the Most Influential Trenchless Engineering Case Award Ceremony were grandly held in Wuxi by the Pipeline Trenchless Crossing Technology Professional Committee of the China Petroleum Engineering Construction Association, China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Co., Ltd., China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Corporation, and the Fourth Branch of China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Co., Ltd.

The forum was chaired by Li Guohui, Secretary-General of the Pipeline Trenchless Crossing Technology Professional Committee of the China Petroleum Engineering Construction Association. Liu Guangren, Director of the Pipeline Trenchless Crossing Technology Professional Committee of the China Petroleum Engineering Construction Association and Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Co., Ltd., along with multiple academicians, renowned experts, and leaders in the engineering field, attended. More than 1,000 management and technical personnel from domestic investment and construction, design, construction, and product-related enterprises also participated in this summit forum.

The project "Beijing Anningzhuang Area Waterlogging Point Treatment Project — Rectangular Pipe Jacking for the Rainwater Box Culvert Underpassing Qinghe Middle Street" declared by Guangzhou Jintu Geotechnical Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. won the Most Influential Trenchless Engineering Award.

Chen Xuehua, Deputy Secretary-General of the Pipeline Trenchless Crossing Technology Professional Committee of the China Petroleum Engineering Construction Association, Ph.D. of Central South University, National First-Class Registered Structural Engineer, Professor-level Senior Engineer, and Chairman of Guangzhou Jintu Geotechnical Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote speech titled "Application of Rectangular Pipe Jacking in Underground Space Interconnection".
