The Urumqi Ganquanbao Cloud Storage Industrial Park project has been successfully completed and will undergo comprehensive completion acceptance by the end of this month.
The Urumqi Ganquanbao Cloud Storage Industrial Park project is located on the south side of Central Avenue in the Ganquanbao Economic and Technological Development Zone (Industrial Zone), with a total construction area of 246,000 square meters. It comprises 20 individual buildings (including a civil air defense basement) and 16 functional zones, including data center computer rooms, a comprehensive service building, a small and micro enterprise incubator, a product exhibition center, and modern standardized factory buildings.
A number of enterprises have already moved in.
The project adopts a design featuring a thousand-mile landscape corridor plus open blocks, transforming a traditional industrial park into an open urban block landscape. The central landscape axis forms a central green spine that penetrates outward laterally from the central axis; medium and small green spaces are designed together with the central landscape axis to form a green network within the park.
Chen Kanglong, technical director of the Urumqi Ganquanbao Cloud Storage Industrial Park project of China Construction Third Engineering Bureau, said that the project continuously optimized its construction plan and carried out eight major changes through BIM technology, further optimizing the curtain wall, high-level water tank, overhead slabs, and other elements to maximize compliance with construction requirements. The project adopted 35 design optimizations and comprehensively advanced 23 process optimizations, effectively shortening the construction cycle.
The project brings together cloud storage, smart terminals, electronic products, and other related enterprises, accelerating the deep integration of "Internet+" with advanced manufacturing, advancing the digitalization, networking, and intelligentization of Urumqi's economy, providing digital support for the development of Urumqi's big data industry, and playing a "cloud-enabled" role.
