In recent days, Yixian County has been seizing fine weather to step up construction, accelerating the advancement of key engineering projects and enhancing the quality and efficiency of high-quality development across the county.
　　In the first half of this year, the county completed investment of 3.21 billion yuan in key engineering projects, accounting for 55% of the annual investment plan; of the 86 new projects planned to start, 49 have begun construction, a start rate of 57%.
　　At the construction site of the Bainianshan Reservoir project in Yixian County, all work is progressing smoothly and is about to enter the final stage.
　　It is reported that the Bainianshan Reservoir project is a major water-conservation, water-supply, flood-regulation and irrigation project in Yixian County, with a total investment of 190 million yuan. Once completed, the project will provide strong support for water supply to the county seat and surrounding areas as well as for the rational use and allocation of local water resources. Project manager Jin Guangming introduced: "At present, the Bainianshan Reservoir has completed 89% of its total investment, and the main dam construction is underway, with 66% of the work completed. While ensuring the construction schedule, we have worked closely with relevant county departments, referred to meteorological data, and carried out construction 'whenever there is a gap' in the weather where conditions permit, effectively ensuring progress according to schedule."
　　The Yixian G530 project is undertaken by Anhui Construction Engineering Road & Port Construction Group Co., Ltd. The highway is about 9.78 kilometers long in total, built to the standard of a two-way, four-lane first-class highway that also serves urban municipal functions, with a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour and a subgrade width of 30 meters. The project connects the Yixian county seat with Yixian East High-Speed Railway Station; once completed, it will greatly improve local traffic conditions and promote exchanges and cooperation among regions. Stepping onto the construction site of the Yixian G530 project, one sees bustling scenes of activity everywhere. "At present, the project has completed the construction of structures such as bridges and tunnels, and is now carrying out pavement works, anti-pollution drainage works and landscaping works. Since the project began, the Yixian Party Committee and government have given us strong support, actively communicating and consulting to resolve various difficulties encountered during construction and accelerating the construction progress. It is expected that the road will be ready for traffic by July next year," said Liu Fei, on-site person in charge of Work Zone 1 of the Yixian G530 project.
