On the 28th, reporters learned from the Hunan Provincial Emergency Command Center that a sudden landslide in Nanyue District, Hengyang, Hunan, has caused 15 deaths and 6 injuries. At present, the on-site rescue work has ended, and the injured have been sent to the hospital for treatment.

At around 8 a.m. that day, a landslide triggered by mountain torrents in Yuelin Village, Shouyue Township, Nanyue District, crushed a residential house. After the incident, firefighting, public security, militia, professional rescue agencies, and other personnel totaling more than 300 were urgently dispatched at all levels to carry out on-site search and rescue, and professional medical forces were mobilized to rush to the scene.

On July 28, in Yuelin Village, Shouyue Township, Nanyue District, firefighters from the Hengyang Fire and Rescue Detachment used radar detection equipment to search for trapped people and clear debris from the site.
