Recently, the continuous rainfall paused and the earth returned to roasting mode. At 4 p.m., the outdoor temperature was still 32°C, and the hot and humid air made people very uncomfortable. At the construction site of the synthetic ammonia project of Henan Shenma Long'an Chemical Co., Ltd. in the Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone of Shilong District, Pingdingshan City, construction workers were seen wearing safety helmets and work uniforms. Some were tying rebar and installing formwork on the steel scaffolding, while others were carrying out pile foundation construction. Amid the "roasting" test of high temperatures, the workers stayed on the front line to advance the construction progress.
"It rained continuously for the past two days, which has already affected the construction progress. Although the heat is unbearable, in order to seize the progress and ensure the rapid advancement of the project, the workers are all sticking to their posts," said Nan Beihong, the project manager. In response to the high-temperature weather, the project department promptly adjusted the construction plan and made scientific scheduling, and prepared cooling oil, Huoxiang Zhengqi water, physiological saline and other heatstroke prevention and cooling supplies for the workers, thereby safeguarding the health of construction personnel without delaying the project progress.
It is understood that the project is adjacent to Pingdingshan Dongxin Coking Co., Ltd. and uses the coke oven gas produced during the coking process of that company as raw material. Through compression and purification, shift conversion and decarbonization, methanation, cryogenic separation, ammonia synthesis and other processes, LNG and liquid ammonia products are obtained. The planned investment is about 1 billion yuan. "At present, 97% of the project's civil construction has been completed, 98% of the equipment, piping, electrical and instrument installation has been completed, 85% of cable laying has been completed, and the circulating water, fire water, demineralized water and air separation units have started single-machine trial operation," Nan Beihong introduced.
At the same time, the construction site of the Dongfang Carbon annual output of 30,000 tons high-end special graphite carbon material project, separated from the synthetic ammonia project by only a wall, was also a busy scene. In the carbonization system roasting workshop, the rumbling sound of machinery was incessant, and workers were stepping up no-load joint debugging and testing of two new car-bottom roasting furnaces, creating a busy scene on site.
According to reports, the project has a total investment of 1.08 billion yuan and covers an area of 175 mu. It will newly build a calcination system, batching system, molding system, carbonization system, graphitization system, machining system, and supporting auxiliary production facilities. "Among them, the carbonization workshop will build 46 new car-bottom roasting furnaces at one time. At present, 24 furnace bodies are under construction, and the remaining 22 will also be completed and put into use in September. By then, it will be the largest car-bottom furnace group in the country and even the world. At present, 60% of the plant foundation of the calcination, batching and molding workshop has been completed; the plant foundations of the carbonization workshop and graphitization workshop have been fully completed, and 90% of the outdoor road network has been completed," said Zhang Mengnan, general commander of the project construction. In order to speed up the project construction progress, the Shilong District Party Committee and District Government established a special work team to specifically serve this project. The whole company also made good matching in resources. On the basis of fully guaranteeing labor, materials, machinery and equipment, it reversed the construction schedule and worked day and night to catch up with progress, ensuring the rapid and smooth advancement of project construction.
Project construction is the stabilizer and ballast stone for promoting the high-quality development of the county economy, and plays an important traction role in expanding effective investment, optimizing industrial layout, and cultivating new development momentum. Since the beginning of this year, Shilong District has taken major project construction as the main lever for expanding investment and enhancing staying power, adopted precise measures, given play to the "baton" role of assessment, adhered to institutional guidance, and strictly implemented the working mechanism of county-level leaders contracting key projects and the "weekly scheduling, monthly notification, quarterly evaluation, and year-end overall evaluation" for key projects, so as to promptly grasp the construction progress of key projects and the problems existing in the process of project advancement, give play to the "sharp sword" role of supervision, and promptly notify projects with slower progress. At the same time, 17 special work teams were established to focus on 17 provincial and municipal key projects, advance work in a project-based manner and advance projects in a list-based manner. All special teams formed synergy, overcame difficulties, and focused on solving the blocking and difficult problems encountered in project advancement, accelerating the pace of project construction.
In 2024, the district will implement 38 key engineering construction projects, with a planned total investment of 19.82 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 2.2 billion yuan. In the first half of this year, 1.38 billion yuan of investment has been completed, accounting for 62.73% of the annual target.
