The civil engineering section 13 of Phase I of Line 23, Longcao Road Station, recently successfully completed the construction of its first diaphragm wall, marking that Longcao Road Station has fully entered the construction stage of the main retaining structure.

Longcao Road Station of Line 23 is an underground three-level island-type station, with dimensions of 165 meters × 22.29 meters. The station is located on the south side of the intersection of Longcao Road and Longwu Road, and is arranged in a north-south direction along Longwu Road. It has a total of 3 entrances and exits and 3 groups of ventilation pavilions. Upon completion, Longcao Road Station of Line 23 will provide transfers with Longcao Road Station of Line 3 and Line 12.

In order to reduce the traffic pressure on the main artery of Longwu Road during the construction of Longcao Road Station and accelerate the construction progress of Longcao Road Station. The construction of the station retaining structure will be implemented in two stages. The diaphragm walls on the west side and north side will be constructed first, and after subsequent traffic diversion, the diaphragm walls on the east side and south side will be constructed in the second stage. The construction site will be minimized as much as possible to avoid impact on public traffic. This time, the diaphragm walls were uniformly hoisted as full panels. The length of the first diaphragm wall reached 59 meters, and its weight reached 91.6 tons. A 500-ton crawler crane and a 350-ton crawler crane were used on site for coordinated hoisting operations, shortening the hoisting duration, reducing the risk of deformation of the reinforcement cage in a suspended state, and accelerating the construction progress.

At the same time, the Fifth Branch of the Construction Group actively responded to the requirements of the first-piece system standard for diaphragm wall construction. Longcao Road Station strictly implemented various safety and quality briefings, strictly controlled the process procedures, and successfully completed the construction of the first diaphragm wall, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent construction of the Line 23 project.
