Recently, the centralized groundbreaking ceremony for the 2024 top ten livelihood projects in Da'an Township, Hengyang County, Hunan Province was successfully held, with a total investment of 103 million yuan across the ten projects. This is a vivid practice of the township in implementing the Hengyang County Party Committee's themed activity of "strengthening the leadership team, building the workforce, improving work style, upholding the bottom line, and promoting development."
According to reports, the top ten livelihood projects include four agricultural-tourism integration development projects: the Tianziling Camellia Oleifera Theme Park Tourist Avenue, the Zougangshan Xiaotianchi Scenic Area Mountaineering Avenue, the Da'an Township Public Football Field, and the Hengyang County Camellia Oleifera Tertiary Industry Integration Demonstration Base Ten-Thousand-Mu Camellia Oleifera New Planting Project; three village road upgrading and renovation projects: the Yutang Village section of Linzheng Avenue, the main road of Helong Village, and the Zougang Village section of Line X033; and three water conservancy and environmental protection facility projects: the Longkou River Dam Risk Elimination and Reinforcement Project in Da'an Township, the Da'an Market Town Ecological and Environmental Protection Ditch Project, and the Zougangshan Resettlement Follow-up Support Safe Drinking Water Project.
Among them, leveraging the township's abundant camellia oleifera resources, the Tianziling Camellia Oleifera Theme Park Tourist Avenue Project and the Hengyang County Camellia Oleifera Tertiary Industry Integration Demonstration Base Ten-Thousand-Mu Camellia Oleifera New Planting Project will help the township build a camellia oleifera demonstration base in Hengyang County featuring integrated development of "primary-sector planting, secondary-sector processing, and tertiary-sector agricultural tourism."
The person in charge of the Da'an Township Party Committee stated that the current project construction momentum in Da'an Township is strong: the Shui-Da Highway and the Zhengshui River Scenic Belt Road have been asphalted and opened to traffic, the 3,000-mu high-standard farmland demonstration area has been completed and put into production, and the tourist scenic area has begun to take shape. Next, focusing closely on the township's "four-three-two-one" development goals, they will grasp economic development with one hand and people's livelihood and well-being with the other, advance livelihood project construction, and give the blessed land of Da'an a completely new look.
