On July 18, Taiyuan Rail Transit Line 1 entered the sprint stage of decoration and finishing. At present, the decoration and finishing works on the concourse level of Longcheng Dajie East Station have been basically completed, bringing it one step closer to opening for operation.

Longcheng Dajie East Station is located at the intersection of Longcheng Dajie and Malianying Road, and is laid out along the east side of Malianying Road in a north-south direction. The station is a two-level underground 12-meter island-type station, adopting a design concept that is standardized, modular, in line with public aesthetics, and imbued with regional characteristics, presenting the basic style of "simple-type" decoration.

According to reports, at present, the construction of the stone flooring, porcelain-enameled aluminum wall panels, and aluminum ceiling panels on the concourse level of the station has been basically completed. The construction team coordinated management, strengthened resource allocation, and reasonably arranged the work sequence, solving a series of difficulties such as a large workload and limited site space, ensuring the smooth progress of the project, which was completed 10 days ahead of the scheduled construction period. It is expected that by the end of this month, the decoration and finishing works on the platform level will be completed.

In addition, after more than a month of intense and orderly construction, the public area on the concourse level of Taiyuan South Railway Station has completed the renovation of more than 4,890 square meters of decoration surfaces and the reconstruction of entrances and exits. It has recently been opened to passengers, who can quickly reach the ground via escalators. During the process, the construction team broke down the work sequence, organized scientifically, ensured quality and quantity, and completed the passage renovation project on time, alleviating the passenger exit pressure at Taiyuan South Railway Station to the greatest extent.
