Recently, at the construction site of the TZ Medium and Large Engineering Crane Intelligent Manufacturing Project in the Xiaohe Emerging Industry Park of the Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone, steel columns stand in rows and engineering equipment roars as it operates. As large cranes hoist steel columns and beams into designated positions, workers methodically secure them in place. As of now, the project's pile caps have been basically installed, and more than 300 steel structure columns have been completed.
　　The TZ Medium and Large Engineering Crane Intelligent Manufacturing Project is a key project of Shanxi Province in 2024 and an important component of strengthening and supplementing the high-end equipment manufacturing industrial chain in our province. It fills the gap in our province's engineering crane manufacturing base and is of great significance for advancing our province's high-end equipment manufacturing industrial chain. The project is designed with an annual capacity of 5,000 engineering cranes, 5,000 boom-type aerial work platforms, and 20,000 scissor lifts. It will build a 104,000-square-meter crane joint workshop, a finished-machine finishing workshop, and other facilities. Once fully operational, it can achieve an annual output value of approximately 6 billion yuan and provide more than 700 jobs.
　　Since the project started, the TZ Medium and Large Engineering Crane Intelligent Manufacturing Project Team has adopted a number of effective measures to fully promote construction progress. "We worked backward from the target milestones to schedule the construction period, organized with precision, and made extraordinary arrangements, achieving an average of 15 pile caps installed per day, 100% faster than conventional construction, effectively ensuring project progress," said the person in charge of the project site.
　　"Since the first steel column was lifted on June 19, we have strictly controlled project quality and closely monitored key milestone dates. At present, 60% of the steel structure main body installation has been completed for the workshop in Section II," said the site manager of Shanxi Construction Investment Xiaohe Company, which is responsible for the steel structure installation of the project workshop. To ensure project progress, the project construction team conducted comprehensive safety technical briefings for lifting operations, carried out item-by-item acceptance and unified management of large machinery, slings, and lifting gear, ensured safe and orderly lifting construction, and strove to achieve early completion, early production, and early results for the project.
