The Xiong'an-Xinzhou High-Speed Railway runs from Xiong'an New Area to Xinzhou, and is located in Hebei and Shanxi provinces. The line starts at Xiong'an Station in the east and ends at Xinzhou West Station in the west, with a main line length of 342 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

The low-tower cable-stayed bridge over the South-to-North Water Diversion Project on the Xiong'an-Xinzhou High-Speed Railway is a prestressed concrete low-tower cable-stayed bridge with two towers and two cable planes, and is one of the key controlling works of the Xiong'an-Xinzhou High-Speed Railway. The bridge has a total length of 526.7 meters and a tower height of 66.5 meters, and each main tower has two tower columns. The west main tower of the bridge was topped out this time.

During construction, the construction team adopted a new-generation intelligent tower-building machine independently developed by CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd., which integrates key equipment such as fully enclosed formwork travelers and hydraulic climbing formwork. Through intelligent and automated control, combined with technologies such as digital twins and electronic sand tables, it achieved digital management of the main tower construction.

In addition, the bridge crosses the Class I water source protection area of the main canal of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, where environmental protection requirements are extremely stringent. The construction team used high-pressure concrete pumps to deliver high-grade concrete for main tower pouring, and strictly restricted the working areas of construction equipment, ensuring the safety of the South-to-North Water Diversion water source from the source.

The Xiong'an-Xinzhou High-Speed Railway is an important part of the Beijing-Kunming corridor of China's "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed railway network, and is an important horizontal corridor in the "Four Vertical and Two Horizontal" regional high-speed railway transportation network plan of Xiong'an New Area. After the project is completed, it will further strengthen the connection between Xiong'an New Area and Shanxi and Shaanxi, form a rapid passenger transport corridor between the southwest and northwest regions and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and be of great significance for promoting regional economic and social development and serving the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
