Recently, Li Tianming, Secretary of the Daoxian County Party Committee, went to the County Transport Bureau to investigate the construction of key transport projects across the county. Through discussion and exchange, they carefully summarized the project construction work in the first half of the year and pushed to accelerate the progress of project construction in the next stage. 　　At the symposium, the County Transport Bureau reported on the basic situation of key transport project construction in the first half of the year, the progress of work, existing problems, and plans for the next stage. Li Tianming listened and asked questions, inspected the construction planning drawings of various transport projects, and held collective consultations with the participants on how to better advance the next stage of work.
　　Li Tianming pointed out that the construction of key transport projects across the county is an important measure to shore up weak links and benefit the people's livelihood. In-progress transport projects must be accelerated with high quality and efficiency. Relevant departments must, with a high sense of political responsibility and urgency, further strengthen organization and coordination, overcome difficulties, formulate timetables and roadmaps, keep a close eye on milestones, work backward from deadlines, carry out operations with wall-mounted charts, and concentrate elite forces to accelerate the construction of some town-access and scenic-area-access roads, including the Shangtan Highway, the third-class highway connecting Lefutang Town, the third-class highway from Xianzijiao to Qiaotou, the scenic road from Meihua Chetou to Jiangcun, and the scenic road from Yingjiang Zengjia to Xianglinpu Xincun, while coordinating the advancement of quality upgrading and pavement improvement of some roads and the reinforcement, renovation, or demolition and reconstruction of some bridges. Quality, progress, and construction management must be comprehensively strengthened, construction must be carried out scientifically and in an orderly manner, and construction progress must be accelerated on the premise of ensuring safety and quality, so as to ensure that tasks are completed on schedule with guaranteed quality and quantity.
　　Li Tianming required that relevant departments adhere to the working approach of planning early, advancing early, and building early, proactively study policies, seize opportunities, play the "first move" in project planning, and scientifically plan next year's key transport projects. Focusing on the construction of some urban roads and scenic-area-access roads, they should ascertain the basic situation, strengthen work consultations around the question of "how to do it," and carry out preliminary work in advance. They should adhere to a problem-oriented approach, continuously improve and optimize the integrated urban-rural passenger transport system, persist in going to the grassroots and identifying problems, unblock "bottlenecks" and resolve "difficulties," supervise ticket prices well, earnestly listen to the problems and demands reported by the public, and solve the public's practical problems with heart and dedication.
