Recently, at the Dongxing District sub-venue of the Neijiang City 2024 Third Quarter Major Project On-site Advancement Event, 29 major engineering projects including the Mining Special Pipeline Project of Sichuan Xinming Plastics Co., Ltd. were advanced in a concentrated manner.
It is understood that these 29 major engineering projects involve a total investment of 5.441 billion yuan, with a planned investment of 1.350 billion yuan in 2024, covering industrial projects, infrastructure projects, livelihood and social undertaking projects, and ecological construction and environmental protection projects. The implementation of these projects will add new vitality and momentum to the economic and social development of Dongxing District.
A careful review of the project list reveals that although there are only 4 industrial projects, their total investment amounts to 2.407 billion yuan, the highest proportion, namely the Mining Special Pipeline Project, the Supporting Infrastructure Project of Neijiang Software and Information Technology Service Outsourcing Industrial Park (Phase II), the Dongxing District 2024 High-standard Farmland Construction Project, and the Dongxing Economic Development Zone Park Infrastructure Construction (Phase II) Project, involving the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries.
Yu Mei, Secretary of the Dongxing District Party Committee and District Mayor, pointed out that the just-concluded Eighth Plenary Session of the Eighth Dongxing District Party Committee defined the overall goal of Dongxing District's modernization drive, and the smooth advancement of key projects is key to Dongxing District achieving its established goals. All units should establish and improve project management mechanisms, clarify division of responsibilities, strengthen coordination and cooperation, form a joint work force, accelerate project construction, and ensure that projects are completed, put into operation, and achieve results as early as possible.
