In 2024, Shandong Hi-Speed Group continued to play the role of a main force in transportation infrastructure construction, anchored to the annual task targets of "6 projects opened to traffic, 2 projects started, and 58.58 billion yuan of investment," and comprehensively accelerated the construction of key projects. As of the end of June, a cumulative investment of 34.03 billion yuan had been completed, accounting for 58.1% of the annual plan.
　　At the construction site of the main bridge of the Yellow River Grand Bridge on the Gaoqing-Shanghe Highway, crowds gathered and machinery roared as builders worked intensively to advance the project at full speed. As currently the largest through-type concrete-filled steel tubular tied-arch bridge in China, the Yellow River Grand Bridge involves great construction difficulty and high risk. To ensure the smooth installation of the main bridge's steel arch ribs, the project innovatively adopted a combined construction process system of "500t truck crane hoisting + 1/2 side-span falsework + cable-stayed buckling and anchoring," fully safeguarding construction safety and controllable progress. As of now, the subgrade, pavement, and bridge and culvert works of the Gaoqing-Shanghe Highway have been completed at 85.9%, 32%, and 88.5%, respectively.
　　At the site of the Linzi-Linyi Expressway project, which is scheduled to be completed and opened to traffic this year, there is likewise a bustling scene of intense activity. Since construction began, the builders have adhered to innovation-driven development, strengthened the scheduling and control of key routes and nodes, and overcome restrictive factors such as high-fill and deep-cut sections in mountainous areas and the high construction difficulty of karst and soft-soil geology, ensuring efficient project advancement. At present, all tunnels along the project have been successfully holed through, bridge erection and the laying of the pavement intermediate course have been basically completed, and the overall subgrade, bridge and tunnel, building construction, and pavement works have all exceeded 95%, among which the section from Jinshan Interchange to Zhongzhuang Interchange has been completed and opened to traffic. After the entire line is opened to traffic, the project will be of great significance for boosting regional economic development, optimizing and improving the province's road network layout, and promoting the coordinated linkage between the provincial capital economic circle and the Lunan economic circle.
　　Since the beginning of this year, the Group has continued to increase input of factors such as personnel, equipment, materials, and funds, driving each key project to accelerate. Among them, the subgrade works of 6 projects to be opened to traffic within the year have been basically completed, and construction is being accelerated on the remaining pavement, bridge and culvert works, and ancillary works such as building construction and electromechanical systems. For the 15 continued-construction projects, with controlling works as the main line, work such as land assembly and submission, borrow pit implementation, subgrade filling, bridge and culvert beam and slab erection, and pavement paving is being advanced in a coordinated manner, continuously speeding up construction progress.
