Since the beginning of this year, a number of modern industrial projects have been thriving in Harbin New Area, Heilongjiang Province, injecting new momentum into stabilizing growth.
　　These new industrial projects not only effectively drive economic growth but are also highly technology-oriented: projects such as Suzhou Keda, supported by Huawei Kunpeng computing power, will build Heilongjiang's largest information technology application and innovation industrial cluster; the Tongchuang Purun ultra-high-purity metal materials project has broken foreign technological monopolies and filled a gap in China.
　　This year, Harbin New Area is advancing 123 municipal key engineering projects, including 97 industrial projects, which account for nearly 80 percent, with an annual planned investment of 8.25 billion yuan. Xiao Bin, secretary of the Party Working Committee and director of the Management Committee of Harbin New Area, said that in the process of firmly grasping and solidly advancing industrial projects as the "No. 1 Project," Harbin New Area must effectively promote the industrial structure to "strengthen the existing stock, expand the increment, and improve quality," not only achieving "acceleration" in project construction but also building solid "hard support" for high-quality development.
