On July 9, Yutong Group grandly held the "Science and Technology Progress Award and Product Line Commendation Conference," awarding 13.08 million yuan in generous prizes to teams and individuals who made outstanding contributions to scientific and technological progress in areas such as products, technology, processes, and quality, as well as to various high-performing product lines.

Of this total, the Science and Technology Progress Award accounted for 4.62 million yuan, matching and supplementary awards for *** and provincial-level Science and Technology Progress Awards totaled 225,000 yuan, and product line awards amounted to 7.635 million yuan—once again setting new records in total award amount, incentive intensity, and scale.

The Science and Technology Progress Award-winning projects at this commendation conference totaled 23, including numerous awards such as the Product Project Success Award, Quality Improvement and Enhancement Award, Technological Progress Award, Process Progress Award, Process Introduction Award, and Original Technological Innovation Award. In addition, matching awards were granted for three innovation achievements that won the Second Prize of the 2023 National Science and Technology Progress Award and the Second Prize of the Henan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.

The "Key Technology R&D and Promotion of the Second-Generation Electric Chassis" project won the First Prize of this Science and Technology Progress Award. This project developed a series of products including integrated electric drive axles, integrated high-integration batteries, multi-in-one controllers, and integrated thermal management. The Yutong second-generation electric chassis built on the YEA (Ruikong E) platform covers the market demands of various commercial vehicle segments such as light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles. It has already been applied to series models including buses, light trucks, and heavy trucks, and was widely recognized by the market upon launch, with cumulative promotion of more than 6,800 units.
