Recently, the pouring of the foundation pit roof slab in Area A of the station for the reserved rail transit project of the Guangzhou Baiyun Airport T3 transportation hub was completed, marking the successful completion of the main structure construction in this area and pressing the "accelerator key" for the construction of the Baiyun Airport Phase III expansion project.

According to reports, the main body of the hub station is designed with two underground levels and is known as a domestic "super foundation pit," featuring a large project volume, high safety risks, difficult construction organization, and strict settlement control. Once completed, it will connect the T3 terminal building as an integrated whole, further improving passenger travel efficiency and experience, and meeting the future development needs of "fully automated and unmanned" civil aviation transportation.

It is reported that the Baiyun Airport T3 rail transit hub is an airport comprehensive transportation hub integrating high-speed railways, intercity railways, urban rail transit, and other multi-level and integrated modes. Once completed, it will effectively smooth the airport's external road traffic, optimize and improve the airport's internal traffic organization, and at the same time connect the Pearl River Delta city cluster and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It will strongly enhance Baiyun Airport's collection and distribution level and radiating and driving role, realize "zero-transfer, integrated" air-rail intermodal transport, and further enhance Guangzhou's competitiveness as an international aviation hub.
