On July 8, the main structure of Quhai Station in Section 1301 of Dongguan Rail Transit Line 1, which was constructed and managed with the participation of China Railway South and built by China Railway Guangzhou Bureau, was capped. With this, the main structures of all stations in this section have been successfully completed, creating favorable conditions for rapidly advancing subsequent construction and realizing the completion and opening of the line as soon as possible.

The first phase of the Dongguan Rail Transit Line 1 project starts at Wanghong Station and ends at Huangjiang Center Station, with a total length of 57.46 kilometers and 24 stations. Section 1301, undertaken by China Railway, starts at Wanghong Station and ends at Tongsha Park Station (inclusive), with a total length of about 23 kilometers and 12 stations. Quhai Station is located within the existing Dongguan Long-Distance Bus Station, with a total length of 342.92 meters and a width of 21.1 meters. It has three underground levels, and the foundation pit excavation depth is 22.13-26.47 meters. It is characterized by a large scale and great depth, making construction difficult and safety risks high.

During construction, under the careful organization of China Railway South, the participating units adhered to a problem-oriented approach, carried out multiple rounds of demonstration and research, and continuously optimized the construction plan. Through effective measures such as increasing resource input, parallel flow-line operations at multiple work faces, and daily notification and early warning for real-time correction, they rapidly and efficiently advanced the construction of the station main structure. At the same time, taking the "Work Safety Month" as an opportunity, they vigorously carried out various emergency drills and safety warning education, improved risk contingency plans such as wind and flood prevention under extreme weather, and tightened and compacted on-site safety responsibilities to ensure that the construction process remained safe and controllable.

Dongguan Rail Transit Line 1 is one of the backbone lines of Dongguan's urban rail transit network. After completion and opening, it will form a "cross" interchange with the already opened Line 2. At the same time, some stations will support transfers to multiple rail lines such as the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Intercity Railway, Foshan-Dongguan Intercity Railway, and Dongguan-Huizhou Intercity Railway. In the future, it will also achieve rail transit interconnection with Guangzhou and Shenzhen, providing strong rail transit infrastructure support for the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and is of great significance for accelerating the formation of a one-hour living circle in the Greater Bay Area and promoting cross-regional integration among multiple cities.
