On July 1, the Construction Project Land Use Pre-examination and Site Selection Opinion Letter and the Construction Project Planning Land Opinion Letter for the air-rail intermodal module of the underground works in the station yard area of Shanghai East Station of the Oriental Hub were issued by the Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau (Hu Gui Shu (2024) BA310000202400838, Hu Gui Hua Zi Yuan Xuan Yu [2024] No. 15).

According to the approved plan "New Compilation of the Regulatory Detailed Planning for Block F1-1 of the Pudong International Airport Community, Zhuqiao Town, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, and Partial Adjustment of the Regulatory Detailed Planning for Plots E8-1, D6-2, and D6-3 of the Pudong Airport Bonded Park Community" (Hu Fu Gui Hua [2024] No. 64), the proposed site for the air-rail intermodal module project of the underground works in the station yard area of Shanghai East Station of the Oriental Hub is located in Zhuqiao Town, Pudong New Area, bounded to the east by Plot F1-1 (boundary), to the south by Plot F1-1 (boundary), to the west by Plot A2-01 of the station yard area of Shanghai East Station of the Oriental Hub, and to the north by Plot F1-1 (boundary). The proposed land area for the project is 14,933.65 square meters, of which the underground land area is 14,933.65 square meters, and the construction depth is ±0.0 to -20.68 meters (subject to actual measurement).
