Recently, the 8th (2024) World Transport Convention (WTC) opened at the Qingdao World Expo City in Shandong, under the theme of "New Transport in Transformation." China Railway 14th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. appeared at the exhibition with advanced technologies and its group standard "Operating Procedures for Pressurized Operations of Slurry Shield Tunneling."

Independently developed China's *** fifth-generation green and intelligent large-diameter shield segment production line, the major subsea tunnel project of the Second Qingdao Subsea Tunnel... China Railway 14th Bureau Group brought its major national equipment and major national projects into the exhibition hall, showcasing equipment including segment mold cleaning, spraying, and welding robots, segment troweling, monitoring, and transport robots, and 40-ton AGV transport vehicles, as well as ten core technologies such as "fully precast assembly of shield tunnels," attracting widespread attention from visitors.

During the conference, the China Highway and Transportation Society group standard "Operating Procedures for Pressurized Operations of Slurry Shield Tunneling" T/CHTS 10148-2024, edited by China Railway 14th Bureau Group as chief editor, was successfully released at the convention, filling the technical gap in China for shield excavation chamber entry operations. Drawing on more than 20 years of shield tunneling construction experience, China Railway 14th Bureau Group reviewed technologies such as pressurized entry into and exit from the chamber, pressurized hot work, and pressurized cleaning operations, and specified certain previously blank indicators for pressurized shield operations. The standard is applicable to solving key work issues such as pressurized preparation, pressurized operations, and safety risk management for shields, effectively ensuring safe and efficient construction of pressurized shield operations.

In recent years, China Railway 14th Bureau Group has strengthened R&D in cutting-edge key technologies, promoted deep integration of new technologies with the industry, and built a number of key transportation infrastructure projects. At the same time, China Railway 14th Bureau Group has closely followed national trends and systematically developed standards drafting work. It will further intensify standards drafting in its areas of strength and contribute to building itself into a first-class enterprise in the industry.
