Recently, with the smooth completion of the final pour of roof concrete, the main structure of Zone 3 of Chengbei Road Station on Section 1 of the Jiamin Line of the Shanghai Municipal Railway—invested in and constructed by Shanghai Shentie and built by Shanghai Construction Group—was successfully topped out.

Chengbei Road Station on Section 1 is located at the intersection of Shengzhu Road and Chengbei Road in Jiading District. The station is laid out along Shengzhu Road in an east-west direction and is a two-level underground island-type station. The station has a total length of 632.2 meters and a standard section width of 21.8 meters, with 4 entrances and exits and 3 groups of ventilation pavilions. The excavation depth of the station's main foundation pit ranges from 21.1 meters to 23.8 meters, and the open-cut sequential construction method is adopted. The station is divided into 3 construction zones in total. Zone 3 is the main structure construction on the east side of the station and is also the end shaft for shield launching.

Under the overall deployment and advance organization of Shanghai Shentie, the project team has always given top priority to safety and quality, used the risk list as a guide, and formulated detailed emergency plans. It has scientifically arranged the construction schedule, continuously strengthened on-site management, and strictly implemented the inspection system for foundation pit excavation. Special hazard identification inspections were organized, and on-site safety and quality hazards were rectified and eliminated in a timely manner.

In the face of many difficulties such as complex geological conditions at the construction site and a tight construction schedule, the project team continuously improved construction efficiency by optimizing construction techniques, actively communicated and coordinated with local authorities and relevant units, and made every effort to solve construction challenges such as spoil transport, ensuring the smooth topping out of the main structure in Zone 3 and laying a solid foundation for subsequent shield construction.
