　　According to Zhao Weiye, manager of Kunze Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., construction began in June 2023. Currently, roof waterproofing is underway for the front-area Technology Center, Technology Center No. 2, and the Quality Inspection and R&D Building, while curtain-wall integrated panels are being tendered; in the rear plant area, the first and third floors of Workshop No. 1 are under construction, the second floor of Workshop No. 2 is under construction, trench excavation and clearing is underway for Workshop No. 3, the third floor of the Power Center is under construction, and pile caps for the comprehensive warehouse are under construction. "In recent days, the weather in Heze has been hot. While adopting high-temperature safety precautions for construction, we have been scheduling scientifically and advancing in an orderly manner. On-site workers have overcome difficulties to ensure smooth project construction. At present, 50% of the plant's civil works have been completed, and equipment is being selected and procured," Zhao Weiye said.

　　Project construction is the "power source" driving economic growth and the "strong engine" of industrial development. As a key project in Heze, the Kunze Pharmaceutical project is building an integrated production base for R&D, raw material extraction, deep processing of formulations, recycling, and testing. The project is mainly engaged in the R&D, production, and sales of heparin series products, equipped with 380 sets of advanced production equipment and 90 sets of testing instruments from home and abroad, with an annual output of 72.6 tons of high-end heparin series products. Once completed, it will add new momentum to the development of the biopharmaceutical industry.

　　Likewise, at the site of the Haixi 5GWh vanadium flow and solid-state dedicated battery cell project, construction is also continuing to "heat up": high-rise tower cranes rotate, construction vehicles run at full power, and workers are busy yet orderly.

　　According to Zhang Fei, the project's electromechanical manager, the project covers an area of 132 mu and includes 10 individual buildings such as a combined workshop. It has now entered the full-scale construction stage. "Our production workshop combined building has a floor area of more than 50,000 square meters and is a large-span steel structure workshop. It has already risen from the ground and is in the steel structure construction stage. The R&D building, testing center, dormitory building, and canteen are in the above-ground structural construction stage," Zhang Fei said. "The overall construction of the project is proceeding very smoothly, which is inseparable from Luxi New Area's continuous optimization of the business environment. Relevant departments frequently go deep into the site to guide and solve problems on the front line, effectively safeguarding the project construction schedule."

　　It is understood that the Haixi 5GWh vanadium flow and solid-state dedicated battery cell project mainly builds 2 vanadium flow energy storage battery cell production lines, 1 GW-level solid-state battery demonstration production line, and 4 immersion-type energy storage system production lines, with an annual output of 5GWh of dedicated energy storage battery cells and 3,000 sets of immersion-type module packs and energy storage system equipment.

　　According to the introduction, energy storage refers to the process of storing energy through a medium or device and releasing it when needed. When renewable energy such as solar and wind power is converted into electrical energy, its intermittency and volatility make grid connection difficult, so the storage link for new energy becomes increasingly important. As an important component of the new energy industry, the energy storage industry is also receiving increasing attention. With the accelerated development of the new energy industry, energy storage, as an important technology and foundational equipment supporting new power systems, plays a key role in the green and low-carbon industry.

　　The project's leading products have distinctive features. Vanadium flow battery cells are small in size, contain no flammable materials, have a service life of 30 years, exceed 20,000 cycles, and have attenuation of less than 5%. Once production is reached, it will be the largest vanadium flow energy storage battery cell production base in China. The solid-state battery has a unit energy density of 500 Wh/kg, the highest in the industry. Once completed, it will be China's *** GW-level energy storage solid-state battery demonstration production line. The module pack breaks through the traditional cold-plate liquid cooling mode and adopts China's advanced mainstream liquid cooling system and immersion technology, reducing energy consumption by 50% and cutting carbon emissions by 1 million tons per year.

　　Against the backdrop of "dual carbon," the new energy storage industry has entered a "tailwind." Luxi New Area is targeting the new wave of development in the new energy industry and has made energy storage a strategic choice for future development.
